Conventional busbar modules have over 100 soldering points which represents an extreme thermo-mechanical stress on the cells, increasing the potential of micro-cracks and other failures that will reduce the efficiency of the panel. EPIQ modules are virtually free of mechanical stress; SmartWire Technology bonds the micro-wires to the cells during the lamination process, eliminating any cell connection soldering.

The Tyco Electronic, Z-Rail, junction box is dual rated IP 65/67. This dust tight junction box is certified to withstand wind driven water up to 12.5L per minute and water submersion up to 1m.

EPIQ 300 achieves higher output than traditional 60 cell modules. This is accomplished by interconnecting specialized mono-crystalline PERC cells with SmartWire Technology, assuring a premium module that achieves a greater energy output per square meter.
Extruded, anodized aluminum frames that have been mechanically pressed together make the EPIQ 300 module virtually indestructible. No screws mean no worries. Tested beyond standards for aggressive wind and snow loads, EPIQ 300 can withstand at minimum 3,800 Pa uplift winds and 5,400 Pa snow loads.
All cells are linked robotically with the foil-wire electrode, ensuring proper connection each and every time. Employing a controlled, automated process during string formation is critical to creating the best substrate possible to craft every module.
